| Dear Bill: A lot of thanks for your prompt posting of story on "Seniors and Prisoners." You might have a few viewers at your web site, aaapoe who got offended by this and other stories or news which I provided in the past. If so, please do take it off immediately. No hard feelings for anyone involved! Life would go on with or without wisdom. I checked the word in the revised edition of Webster's II(New Riverside) dictionary for the meaning. Wisdom is "insightful understanding of what is true, right, or enduring." This brings me some memory of late Principal Hsin. Do you recall his stylish expression of "Fair Play" and "Honesty is the Best Policy", and his unique stress on "balanced education of arts, science and physical education" in our Chu-Chung days? As far as I am concerned, guided by his philosophy, I have become a fair, honest and tolerating person in my whole life. I am humbly grateful for that! Here is another piece of news, "welcoming Taiwan Fu-Hsin Little Baseball League" which I ought to share with you and your web site viewers, or perhaps, our classmates. It hit me hard instantly when you asked me what I have been doing other than my face book on Rendy Lu. I told you that I came in third place at Maryland Senior Olympic Games in tennis/single at 70-74 age category. I think that I am qualified to play at the summer national senior games on June 16-30, 2011 held in Houston, Texas. By the way, my partner, Jean Su and I were in the final of mixed double, 65-69 age category. We will play the championship game this weekend. Win or lose, both team will represent the state of Maryland to play at the national games. Wish us a lot of luck! I now wonder whether the friendly tennis match with Teacher Liu, Ken Su, Yau-shian Ho, etc. against the current school team or any team formed by either parents or current teachers is still on and in our reunion agenda. Maybe, Pei-kun or Che-Bao can give me some ideas, I hope. Getting back to baseball and Taiwan Little League, my wife and I were heavily involved from the initial contact, receiving the team at the airport, visiting and cheering kids at Williampoert, Pennsylvania, to welcoming the entire team in Washington, DC. Please click under link to read the news. I was the leader of Taiwan Cheering Team on this occasion. Therefore, I was assigned to be a MC at the welcoming party. I am the oldest one in the photos Do I look like an old fool? Some of my friends called me that and said ," you had better things to do than this". Nope! They are wrong. To me, "Life is Service." I also learned THIS way.....back in our high school days. Ask Che-Bao. He is the best ......and he is the man who knows it all and is constantly doing it, too. I salute you, sir, Che-Bao.
