| We stayed in Cairo from 11/18/07 to 11/20/07 and then came back for Nile Cruise on 11/30/07. We visited Three Pyramids in Giza, Sphinx, Sakara (step pyramid), Memphis, Old Coptic, Hanging Church, Citadel, Egyptian Museum, and shopping at Khan el-Khalili. | We took train to Aswan and stayed in Isis Island Hotel on 11/21/07. Using Aswan as a base, we visited Elephanite Island, Nubian Museum, Abu Simbel, Aswan High Dam, unfinished Obelisk, and Temple of Philae before sailing north to Kom Ombo and Horus Temples. | An ice storm hit OK on 12/10/07. It damaged power lines and made Tulsa area 150,000 homes without electricity for many days. On the other hand, there are beautiful sights during ice storm. I would say this is a million dollar scenes. First, you won't see this very often. Second, it costs government hundred million dollars to recover power.
